Lance-BrendaLance is the Pastor of the Lowery Free Will Baptist Church in Twin Oaks, OK.  Before pastoring there, he pastored in Missouri and served many years as Youth Pastor/Janitor in churches in Missouri and Oklahoma.  Lance has been married to his beautiful wife Brenda for almost 17 years and they have two boys Ashton, 11 and Grant 8.  Lance graduated from Hillsdale Free Will Baptist College.  “I can’t wait to find out if there is fishin’ in Heaven.”

Greg McAllisterThis weeks blogger is Greg Mcallister.  Greg has ministered in churches in Missouri, Oklahoma and California. He is a former Academic Dean for California Christian College and former Senior Chaplain for the Fresno Police Department. In January 2009, he became pastor of Harmony Free Will Baptist Church in Fresno. At present he is Assistant Moderator for the California Association of Free Will Baptists. He has been married to Debbie (Wright) for 32 years. They have two adult children- Mark, and Rachel. He holds the B.A. from Hillsdale FWB College, and the M.Div. from Mennonite Brethren Biblical Seminary.

Changing The Conversation

At last, Free Will Baptist across the country or even the world has a means of connecting.  Several of us have sought a means to mobilize and mentor a group of fellows who share a common calling, i.e. Pastors.  For some years I’ve dreamed of a vehicle that would allow Pastors to connect with each other.  I believe the time has come to have a means of seasoned Pastors being able to mentor younger Pastors.
