Be Real, Be You! (Lenny Pirtle)

“Know thyself” is an ancient philosophical proposition.  Scripture gives some insight on why this is so hard, “the heart is desperately wicked, WHO CAN KNOW IT?” Couple that with this statement “all men are liars” and “we have a problem Houston”!  Authenticity is hard to arrive at as a person or as a pastor! Afraid (Jimmy Holbrook)

I’ve been pastoring at Harrah Church for 14 years.  Four as the youth pastor and the last 10 as senior pastor.  In those 14 years I’ve only been afraid that I might not survive one time.  When I took the church it was traditional with hymnals, a full choir, pews, and I preached in a suit every Sunday.
