We had a great meeting in Cincinnati. I saw a lot of new faces that I am hoping to get to know a lot better in the coming years. PastorConnections.com will begin a new rotation of bloggers next week. Rather than having a different pastor post each day there will be one pastor who posts for the entire week. This will simplify things for everyone. Next week Randy Sawyer will begin the cycle. From there different pastors will be scheduled. I will be contacting those of you who attended the meeting and asking you to contribute. If you don’t hear from me and you are willing to write just shoot me an email at jimmy@harrahchurch.com. You can still contribute even if you didn’t attend the meeting. Please check the blog daily as we will be posting pertinent information this week. I would like to thank Archie Ratliff for helping us come together. I can honestly say that this is the first time I have felt connected to other FWB pastors around the county. I felt accepted by people who have a different methodology than I do! There was a definite spirit of unity in the room.

THERE WAS TRULY A GREAT CONNECT BETWEEN THE PASTORS IN THE ROOM. EVERYONE HAD A CHANCE TO BE HEARD. IT WAS A TIME WHERE YOU COULD LEARN FROM THE OTHERS AT YOUR TABLE. WE NEED FEED BACK FROM ALL WHO ATTENDED AS TO HOW WE CAN GO FORWARD TO HELP MEET THE NEEDS OF OUR PASTORS. ARCHIE

Hi Jimmy,
I was at the meeting and enjoyed it very much. I am looking forward to the potential of pastor connections. I know that I need the encouragement as well as the input of others. Just today I wondered how many of the guys I met in Cincy was feeling like I was… you know the Monday ministry hangover… it motivated me to whisper a prayer for my brothers… PTL Tuesday is coming! Thanks again for PC.

Jimmy,
Thanks for the opportunity to connect with my brothers in ministry. This can certainly be a great breakthrough in fellowship for many of us who are desiring consistent dialogue among our peers. I appreciate the vision of the 13 men who saw a need and was proactive. If there is anything I can do to help facillitate, do not hesitate to let me know. God bless all my brothers!
